The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) this week arrested a Russian national believed to be the animating force behind the Deer[.]io criminal marketplace. The site is believed to have operated over 24,000 “shops” that sell hacked accounts and stolen user credentials. This is a blow to the criminal underworld, and it should be lauded accordingly. Kudos on the diligent investigative work the led to this arrest!

The U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) charge two Chinese nationals with the laundering of over $100 Million in #cryptocurrency stolen from exchanges by North Korean actors seeking to evade international sanctions.

This is a remarkable case, involving tremendous cooperation among international law enforcement, sophisticated digital forensics, and a resolute pursuit of actors determined to compromise global financial systems and harm the United States.  Kudos to all involved!
