Today’s #GoodGuysPrevail Update: The United States Attorneys’​ Offices recently seized a website promoting #sextrafficking and indicted its owner.

The #indictment was announced by United States Attorney Erin Nealy Cox last week. The announcement details an action by the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Secret Service, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security that shuttered the successor to the Backpage website, which similarly made the owners “millions [by] facilitating the online exploitation of women and children.”

I will admit that I needed to read this headline twice, as my brain initially recorded “investigators” (rather than 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨). Now that my breathing has returned to normal, I’m able to better understand the import of this U.S. Department of Justice update.
